Personal Statement

I discovered psilocybin mushrooms through the bodies of scientific
evidence that demonstrate how high doses can unlock
transformational experiences for people. As someone who spent much
of my adult life struggling with alcohol addiction, I was inspired by
testimonials of people who found sobriety through this work. After writing my own sobriety story, I knew I wanted to help others develop a relationship with the mushroom, too.
I joined Psanctuary because of how these little mushrooms have
changed my life. Like many in our community, I experienced a challenging spiritual environment growing up, so it's important to me that we cultivate spaces that are aware of the challenges others may face joining an inter-tradition community.

But what I've experienced with our church is a community diverse with beliefs And as someone who had already found comfort in the Tao
Te Ching, its place as Psanctuary’s central book made my integration
into our community all the more comfortable.
I believe that sacred experiences with entheogens are an intrinsic part of
the human spiritual and community experiences and that everyone's story in our community is an opportunity for more connections.
I bring with me over fifteen
years of experience as a marketing creative, including time at PBS, TNT,
Nintendo, and Nordstrom. I want to help those curious about the
mushroom discover it in a way that is grounded and approachable - and
because I have found no better way to do this work than with a
community like ours.
