I discovered psilocybin mushrooms through the bodies of scientific
evidence that demonstrate how high doses in the right settings unlock
transformational experiences for people. As someone who spent most
of my adult life struggling with alcohol addiction, I was inspired by
testimonials of people who found sobriety through this work. After having
a profound experience that helped me write my own sobriety story, I
knew I wanted to help others develop a relationship with the mushroom,
too.
I joined Psanctuary because of how these little mushrooms have
changed my life. The idea of joining a church might have been a little too
“out there” for me had I not experienced first-hand how profound
psilocybin experiences can be. Growing up, church wasn’t something I
had many fond memories of. But what I found in Psanctuary was a
network of open hearts and minds brought together by their own
profound experiences and bound by a deeply genuine spirit of
community. And as someone who had already found comfort in the Tao
Te Ching, its place as Psanctuary’s central book made my integration
into our community all the more comfortable.
I believe that sacred experiences with entheogens are an intrinsic part of
the human spiritual and communal experiences. They are our birthright.
I’m here to help tell our community’s story. I bring with me over fifteen
years of experience as a marketing creative, including time at PBS, TNT,
Nintendo, and Nordstrom. I want to help those curious about the
mushroom discover it in a way that is grounded and approachable - and
because I have found no better way to do this work than with a
community like ours.
